It feels so great when you see most of people around you Post “we are listening”. It is such a wonderful feeling that we are surrounded with so much of care.

Has it ever happened to you while you are watching a movie and during some emotional scene you get carried away and feel as if it is happening to you!! OR if someone is sharing something and later for no reason you start feeling low and out of energy.

It is very common, our mind stores data or emotions through our senses so when we see an emotional scene we get carried away. OR when we hear something unpleasant it spoils our mood and drain our energy.

So, does it mean that we should not lend our ears to our family or friends who need. NO, it is not so. We should always but at the same time it is important to understand that we need to protect ourselves and keep our happy and energic mood always ON.

Let’s understand few routines that will keep you ready to lean your shoulders.

Gratitude: First and foremost, important point is practice “Gratitude” – Gratitude is like a magnet to happiness. Gratitude helps in maintain good health, balancing positive emotions, builds strong relationship and sustain good events of life. Gratitude helps to see the brighter side in your life.  So, we say that whenever anyone does good to us, we say Thank You, that’s great, but we have to make a small change over her. We need imbibe Gratitude practice as daily regime. Everyday morning after you are done with your meditation Or Prayer take out some time to practice Gratitude. Practice Gratitude for everything good in your life, all the people, family members who have helped to shape all upright in your life. And Don’t forget to Gratitude yourself

Meditation: Another way to keep yourself positive. Meditation synchronize your mind, body and soul. Fantastic way to keep yourself energetic and focused. It strengthens immunity and reduces negativity.  So, ensure you to make Meditation your best buddy.

Time for Hobbies and self-care: Make a point that you do at least one thing in a day that you love and you are passionate about. Minimum of 30 minutes for your hobbies. So, remove the rust from your hobbies and make them lively. Also, many people misinterpret self-care with being selfish. They both are different, as we take care of others it is important that we take care of our self as well. Self-care is the fuel that will make us up and running to do our duties. Investing in your hobbies and self will boost your self esteem and make you strong towards adversity.

Being Mindful: Being in the present moment smoothens your access to positive emotions and keep you focused on the practical aspects in your life. When you get involved in worries of someone else it makes it difficult for you to keep yourself happy and positive. Simple way to reconnect with the moment is to put your full attention on what is going around you right at that moment involving all your senses. See it. Hear it. Smell it. Feel it

List down and Repeat Affirmation:  Affirmations are brief declarations, which state a fact and as already existing, it acts as medicine to change a certain situation, routine or habit, it also helps in achieving goals. In order to achieve what you want in your life; you must repeat these affirmations very often either silently or aloud and you will attract situations or conditions that will help you to achieve your desires or goals. Repeating these affirmations also brings positivity in your daily routine.

So now, when you have strengthened yourself, you are all shielded and ready to listen and help your near and dear ones.
